We are currently recruiting 2 new roles at St Wulfstan Surgery.
Firstly a Care Navigator. This role involves working with patients at reception and helping signpost and navigate them to the correct service or appointment type.
Our second role is for a Phlebotomist.

New St Wulfstan Surgery Podcast, The DocCast - Episode 1 is about The Prostate!
At St Wulfstan Surgery we are introducing a new PodCast as a way of staying in touch with our wonderful patients. We will aim to give you updates and insights from within the surgery, but also some important health messages, presented by Dr Ramadani.
Episode 1 is now live, and talks about the Prostate. What is it? What symptoms can it cause? And when should you see a GP?

Cervical Cancer Prevention Week - 22nd-28th January 2024
Menopause Group Coaching
Starting on 26th January at the Community Hub & Café at Galanos House from 11:30am-1pm, the group coaching sessions are for individuals interested in smoothing the transition period to menopause and optimising health in the long run.
They will be friendly, open discussions in a group setting to promote learning and peer support with a focus on lifestyle and all that can be done to improve symptoms naturally.
The sessions will explore aspects of lifestyle that influence symptoms and ways women can adapt well to change whilst gaining an understanding of their bodies. With knowledge we can regain trust in our bodies and embrace the future with more confidence.
Group Coaching sessions are free to all patients registered with the EAST PCN surgeries: Kineton, Harbury, Fenny Compton, Southam and St Wulfstan.
There will be total of 4 fortnightly sessions of 90 minutes in a friendly environment of gradual learning and discovery. The programme is designed and delivered by the Senior PCN Health Coach.

Exciting New Vacancy: Nurse Manager
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a Nurse to join us as Nurse Manager.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive nurse to join our surgery team as Nurse Manager. This is a new role and the successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to further develop their career whilst providing a high standard of nursing care for our patients.
You will have experience in managing a practice nursing team. The role includes delivering practice nursing care including cervical cytology, immunisation and chronic disease reviews as well as leading the nursing team in HR, quality, training, compliance and development
Salary will be £45,000-£52,000 per annum

Welcome To Our New GP Trainee's
St Wulfstan Surgery is proud to be a GP Training Practice. We have loved having Dr Hayward and Dr Maharjan, but unfortunately for us it is time for them to move onto their next training post and we wish them the best of luck!
As they depart, we welcome Dr Mulligan and Dr Nangia to the practice. They are both excellent Doctors and we wish them both a warm welcome!

Better Housing, Better Health
Better Housing Better Health (BHBH) is a charity working locally to improve our domestic warmth and wellbeing. In a preventative approach, their free helpline provides us with a single point of contact for services, advice and financial support in order to help improve the energy efficiency of our properties.
Financial Support
BHBH’s team of experts can with with households to apply for grants and funding to help with your home energy. Schemes like the Warm House Discount can take £150 off your bills and ECO Funding can replace heating systems as well as install insulation. Give them a call on 0800 107 0044 to see if you’re eligible and start the process.
Priority Services Register
If you’re of pensionable age, have long-term medical conditions or live with children under 5 years old, the BHBH team can assist you with checking your eligibility and signing your household up to the Priority Services Register so you find out about any issues and outages with your home energy immediately.
Free Home Energy Visits
A trained home energy advisor can install free small energy-saving measures such as draught-proofing and LED light bulbs, advise on bills and debt, help you understand your heating system, and much more during a free home energy visit. They will assess your property and signpost you to other services that can help you save money and stay warm in your home.
